Hi, I'm Josh!
"My personal calling in ministry is to help kids, students, and families learn what it means to love God and to put Him at the center of their lives. Also, to help raise up the next generation of church leaders."
Originally born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Josh taught his first sermon at the age of 5 years old in a small Baptist church. It wouldn't be until later that he would truly discern his call to ministry. With the help of some trusted mentors and ministry leaders, he was given opportunities to lead and learn more about "church world" at Eastern Hills Church in Williamsville, NY. His post high school education would continue at Houghton College where he studied Christian Formation with a concentration in Kids, Youth, and Family Studies. Currently, he is finishing his Masters of Divinity with a specialization in Church Leadership from Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University.
(Random Fact: He also holds a contract minor in Percussion/Timpani Performance.)
After college, Josh would move to Allendale, Michigan to serve in kids and student ministries. Life Stream Church has been his home for the past 13 years. He has over a decade's experience leading kids and students of all ages. He has led both volunteer and staff teams, training, investing, and shepherding them. He now serves as the Young Adults Pastor, leading an amazing team of leaders and overseeing discipleship for those in Gen Z ages 18-25. He also leads Life Stream's Internship and Residency program. Occasionally, you'll hear his voice on the teaching team as well.
Josh is married to his beautiful wife, Danielle, and has 3 children. He enjoys reading a great book over a cup of black coffee, raspberry filled chocolate, hockey, and the Buffalo Bills. #GoBills
